A Call to Arms for Florida Patriots - RSVP Today - February 26 Event
February 22, 2010

America's hallmark is individual liberty and the type of unlimited economic opportunity only possible in a nation of freedom and under a free enterprise system. The foundational ideals of America's Founding...the value of each human life, of labor and individual opportunity...the three most fundamental natural rights of man...the right to life, liberty and property...were enshrined in our U.S. Constitution through the provisions of representative government, limits on government power and checks on the power of each branch of government.

This legacy of freedom and opportunity is what every American patriot hopes to leave to our children and grandchildren.

It has never been more important for Americans who share these ideals to work to elect candidates for public office who understand the primary purpose of government is protecting individual rights.

But this election cycle, Floridians face another unique and dangerous threat.

Next November, Florida voters will consider a proposal which seeks to strip every Floridian of the Constitutional rights envisioned by our nation's founders. Amendment 4, the anti-property rights amendment, seeks to replace our form of representative government with a public vote on individual rights. It would force ordinary citizens to run and win political campaigns if they desire to use their privately-owned land for any constructive economic purpose. In doing so, Amendment 4 would effectively convert all private land to public land.

This insidious proposal can and will be defeated IF Florida patriots are willing to rise up in defense of individual liberty.

Your help is needed.

At its heart, the effort to defeat Amendment 4 is fundamentally the battle to safeguard the integrity of our state and national Constitutions.

It is often said, "To win the game, you must know the game." This is especially true in political battles.

This week,  the Coalition for Property Rights is calling all Florida property and business owners - all Florida patriots - to come together for a special presentation on the #1 threat facing Florida by the #1 expert on Constitutional referendum campaigns in Florida.

Every Florida citizen has a vital role to play in one of the most important policy debates in our state's history. If you enlist in the strategic effort to defeat Amendment 4...when the dust settles next November and victory is won...you will have a story to tell your kids and grandkids...that when freedom was attacked...when their Constitutional rights were threatened...you did not sit back and watch this come to pass..but instead stepped forward and helped vanquish this extraordinary threat.
